About The Divorcer

            Little update for my latest novel release. Let’s say the launch date is TBD, but that’s just code for when I can put together the money.

            It’s called The Divorcer. I try to do something stylistically different with each work, and this is no exception. It’s told in the third person, but in the present tense. This means things are happening as the story unfolds. Most books you read these days are told like they already happened. It’s nothing crazy, but it gives the events a feeling of more immediacy.

            The fulcrum of the story is a murder, but it’s more than a simple mystery. The main character is a lawyer who is a bit of a jerk; the transformative moment in his life occurred when he was left at the altar by the woman of his dreams. He holds the moment close to his wilted heart, reveling at each opportunity to tear asunder other people’s so-called eternal vows.

            It all goes weird very quickly. Our anti-hero becomes more of a hero as the narrative unfolds, but there’s too many curves and undulations to get into here. I’ll leave that to the millions of readers out there…

            I don’t usually preview my own work, but thought I’d throw it out there. Get ready, and if you haven’t ordered a copy of my other books, get after it.
