About New Gardens

            It’s important to keep the passion alive. I think this is why starting new projects is crucial, even when you’re knee-deep in something that’s ongoing.

            Find yourself in a new field, somewhere you can plant a new crop. Going over the same old rows can be stultifying. I’m all about the can-do and putting your head down, but sometimes there are easier ways to dislodge your creative spirit from the amber that seeks to fossilize it.

            You need to be fair to yourself. This means two things: production and passion. They feed each other, and this will allow you to feed your readers or watchers or whatever else you’re about.

            Everybody gets fed, because you had more than one garden going.
