About Relatable Ignorance
Post 1824:
The world is a seriously confusing place. For one, it’s big. New places and situations, all the time. We don’t know what we’re doing. We try. We hope and wish. If we’re badass, we do our best, despite the confusion and ignorance.
That’s all pretty bleak I guess, but the good news is, we’re not alone. The only people that are truly alone are the ones that choose to be. Even for people that have a hard time relating to others, there’s always stories. Stories are full of people that don’t know what to do. Sometimes the less the character understands, the better the character.
This is because we identify with ignorance. If a guy or gal comes and tells me they know it all, I’m not going to ask for their answers. That’s a quick eye roll and a walk in the other direction.
The great teachers don't give us answers. They show us how we might find them. The great characters don’t start on top. They blunder their way through until they come to some sort of conclusion. We root for them because we’re rooting for ourselves. Just the way things work.
This can come off as negative, but it’s actually good news. Because let’s face it, you already know I’m right. I have all the answers. Cheers and see you after.
